I first got started online the way most of you did: I purchased a few domains, added a little content, and lavishly sprinkled banner ads for popular affiliate marketing programs like Corey Rudl's Internet Marketing Center, Marlon Sanders' Amazing Formula and Yanik Silver's Instant Sales Letters. Over time my sites began to generate a little revenue. I will never forget my shock and surprise when I received my first affiliate commission check! At first, the checks were infrequent and tracking my commissions was easy . . . But Then Something Unexpected Happened! As I started promoting more products through my sites and mailing lists, the affiliate commission checks started flowing more and more frequently. I was thrilled until I tried to track my revenue. When I went from promoting a half dozen products to 100 products, and started getting commission checks several times a week, I began to have many important questions. I wanted to know:
As the questions started growing, I knew I had to do something. First I tried creating the world's most complicated Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.
What you see above is only part of it. I listed the products I was promoting down the left column and entered my revenue across the columns by months with the last column showing totals. There are a ton of formulas behind these cells. While the data entry was no biggie, I really wasn't able to easily answer my marketing questions. I scoured the Internet for a solution. I found many products that will track your affiliate link click-throughs, but those systems can't track your revenue because they don't know if the sale went through or if it was abandoned. You first need to login into the individual affiliate management systems to get your actual click-throughs and sales commission stats. I also found several tools that can download your Clickbank and PayPal data, but they are a mixed bag when it comes to sales analysis. Garbage in, garbage out. So I put on my thinking cap, and started to design a tool that could help me organize and analyze all of my affiliate marketing sales commissions easier. And that's how My Affiliate Marketing Manager was born. Listen

Steven, I had to write to tell you how kickass
My Affiliate Marketing Manager is! I Well, in this case I'm speaking up loudly! You had to be reading my mind because My Affiliate Marketing Manager is exactly what I have been looking for. I had the exact same macros filled, PHD style Excel spreadsheet that you did, and I was starting to confuse the hell out of myself ;-) I have been trying to figure out a way to quickly and easily determine which affiliate programs are bringing in the returns, so I could focus my efforts appropriately. My Affiliate Marketing Manager does that and then some! Excellent job on a damn fine product...one which I think every affiliate marketer should get their hands on immediately. I'm giving YOU the Gold Cool Tool Award on this one! Cheers, |

What Quicken Does For Your Checkbook,
|
The Affiliate Manager helps you to keep track of all the affiliate programs you belong to including product names and category, the type of affiliate program (single, double or multi-tier), whether or not it pays recurring commissions on sales, your login URL for the respective affiliate management system, your login information, the email address of the affiliate manager, the sign-up URL (for multi-tiered affiliate programs), and a Notes field for miscellaneous items of importance. Your affiliate login URLs are clickable so you can launch your browser and go directly to a login screen with a single click. Everything may be sorted and filtered by category and tier, exported to CSV format or printed.
And as a special bonus, I am including a list of my favorite affiliate programs -- the ones I have had the greatest success with and which generate thousands of dollars per month for me. Let me save you time and money, and guide you to the best affiliate programs on the Internet today!

The Product Manager tracks every affiliate product you promote by product name, price, direct commission, sub-affiliate commission and promotional URL. Commissions may be entered as either a flat dollar amount or a percentage of sales. You can use the actual URL provided by the product vendor, or your redirected or cloaked link. All product information may be exported to CSV format or printed.

In The Campaign Manager, every time you promote a product, either through an email campaign, direct mail campaign or through your web site, you enter the basic campaign information here including the campaign name, product name, the affiliate program, and the date. Then as you receive email notifications about your commissions you enter the information supplied by the vendor here, too. All campaigns may be exported to CSV format or printed.

As you enter your customer information, The Campaign Manager tracks the customers' names, the quantities purchased, the amounts, and it auto-calculates your commissions. You can even indicate whether or not the sale was a result of your direct marketing efforts or the result of one of your sub-affiliates. As you receive payments from vendors, you can flag whether the payment was received and the date received. You can also flag whether the sale and commission were refunded to help keep track of serial refunders! Keep your vendors and your customers honest. Always know when commissions are outstanding!

Best of all you can see your Revenue vs. Commissions charted in real-time, and you can change the chart to reflect either revenue or commissions or both, by date, product, or affiliate program. Now you can actually see for the first time which affiliate products and programs are generating the most money for you, and where you should focus your time and energy in the future.

The Report Manager may be used to generate 8 different textual and graphical reports based upon all of the information entered. With it you can see at a glance exactly which affiliate products and programs are generating revenue for you. You can dissect and analyze the success or failure of each promotional campaign, and you can see which of your customers are buying multiple products from you based upon your promotions. You can filter by date, products, programs, campaigns or customers. Use these reports to analyze your productivity and maximize your efforts, and be sure to use them to double-check commissions payments received from vendors.

Now you might expect a sophisticated program like My Affiliate Marketing Manager to be insanely expensive and complicated to install and use. Not true. Because it is modeled after our other product, Forum Marketing Manager, we had the framework already built, so this actually cost us less to develop than expected. We're passing that cost savings on to you, our customers, because we want all affiliate marketers to be using this tool. So we've kept it very affordable at only $97.00! And the software will run on virtually any Windows PC. There are no server scripts to install. Just click a button to install the EXE and databases on your PC, and you'll be up and running in less than minute!
This could easily be sold as an extra add-on module -- it's that powerful and no one has anything like it. Your sub-affiliates are your path to riches but few affiliate marketers know how to leverage their strength. When people sign-up for a program through your affiliate links to become a sub-affiliate in a multi-tiered affiliate program, you earn a portion of their affiliate commissions. That's money you don't have to work for -- it's like a gift for just introducing them to the affiliate program. Not all affiliate programs work this way, but many do such as Armand Morin's My Affiliate Center, Corey Rudl's Internet Marketing Center, and Ken Evoy's Site Sell to name a few.
In many cases, these affiliate programs provide you with the name and email addresses of your sub-affiliates, and commission notifications tell you when the commission is a result of a sub-affiliate's promotion. Now, with The Sub-affiliate Manager you can track who your sub-affiliates are and their productivity across all your affiliate products and programs. Know at a glance who your best performers are and who you need to spend more time mentoring. The more time you spend supporting your sub-affiliates, the more money you earn without lifting a finger! All sub-affiliate data may be exported to CSV format or printed. You can then import the sub-affiliate database into an email campaign manager like GroupMail and send out personalized emails to your sub-affiliates!
